Unless you have been on a missions trip in some sheltered, cut off country for many moons, you have no doubt noticed the amount of personal attacks that have been happening as of late. Part of this is simply due to the media reporting more heavily on these attacks - for ratings.
But as certain as the Trump Train will come rolling through the United States come November, you can bet that these attacks will continue. What can you do to protect yourself in the dramatic moments of an attack? Well, I'll start with one thing that has no bearing on my business, and that's simply situational awareness. We will most certainly drill Situational Awareness (SA) into your head in classes, but by no means will you leave class a CIA operator, able to detect every threat within a 2-mile radius. One helpful tip is to turn it into a game; Everybody loves playing games - which makes this come naturally. Something people will naturally do is people watching, start doing it EVERWHERE! You want to know the types of people around you and whether or not they could be perceived as a threat. That will be the extent of this first lesson, but watch for a video on this coming up! Leave us a comment regarding how you would describe instances of improved situational awareness in your every day life.
